Duke Memorial UMC and Calvary-Resurrection UMC would like to invite you to be a part of a special worship service on September 29th, at the end of the Pride: Durham weekend. From the sermon, to the prayers, to the community liturgy, to the music, the service will be led by persons who identify as part of the queer community. We seek to create a space where God's radical love for queer bodies can be joyously expressed by voices that have been kept quiet for too long: a worship service for queer people, led by queer people, and open to all of God's children, regardless of age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, citizenship status or body capability.
