Pride: Durham, NC is celebrating 50 years since Stonewall by curating a month of programming during historic Pride Month and welcomes you to all events. Our hope is that folks have a way of celebrating and reflecting on the impact of Stonewall on our history. Proceeds from many of these events benefit the LGBTQ Center of Durham and Pride: Durham, NC.

Quiet No More: A Choral Celebration of Stonewall

Common Woman Chorus and Triangle Gay Men's Chorus partner together to present a new work, Quiet No More, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising.

This work celebrates those who rose up and fought back during this pivotal moment in history which sparked the LGBTQ+ rights movement. Quiet No More, commissioned by the New York Gay Men's Chorus and Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles, will have performances by choruses throughout the US in 2019, the largest collaboration in the history of LGBTQ choruses.

Special guests Triad Pride Women's and Men's Choruses will perform with us.

A portion of proceeds will benefit the LGBTQ Center of Durham and LGBT Center of Raleigh.
